Lectura- 90% of the day is in spanish
Matematicas- This is in spanish tooFor math, we have continued working on counting to 100 in Spanish, writing to 30 and comparing numbers to 10. For comparing, we have been using the terms "mayor que" (>), "menor que" (<) and igual a"(=). By the end of the year, they should be able to count and write to 100. They should know how to to identify the written numbers from 0 to 20. You can use this resource to have your child trace numbers for homework until they are able to do independently. Science- 10% englishWe've been working on learning about bats. Some big words they learned are: nocturnal and echolocation. They have enjoyed watching videos to see what a real bat looks like and to see the size. Many had misconceptions that bats are all blood sucking vampires. Too cute! We learned that most eat fruit and insects, they are the only flying mammal and that they are found everywhere on the earth, except on the north and south poles.
